Church heating with an EnergySystem control offers many advantages. By default, humidity levels are logged and stored, making it easy to view the data. Too high or too low humidity is often a problem in churches with older frescoes and other irreplaceable items.

EnergySystem allows for the control system to automatically calculate heating times, saving energy by only turning on the heating when necessary. The calculation takes into account the outside temperature, the current temperature in the church, and adjusts the heating to reach the desired temperature at the scheduled time.

Many churches use a digital calendar such as ChurchDesk, Outlook, or Google to schedule services and other church activities. These events can be easily transferred to the EnergySystem via the iCal function in the CleverHouse app. This allows the priest to quickly set the system to control the heating, lighting, access control, etc., in the church. Additionally, the caretaker can set the system to unlock for craftsmen early in the morning or lock up late in the evening after choir practice.

Thanks to the multi-installation feature of EnergySystem, it’s possible to consolidate several churches into one interface, allowing an entire parish with multiple churches to be controlled from a single online device. For example, if there are three churches with the same operating patterns, they can be managed by the same system.

It’s also possible to control the church’s other buildings, such as the chapel, toilets, and parish hall, from the same unit.
