Hybrid systems
Store excess power in a battery pack and sell excess production whenever you want
Hydrides are a combination of being connected to the grid, but you also have the option to store the power you produce in a battery storage system. This allows you to become self-sufficient and, for example, charge your electric car for free at night. This system works by measuring the solar production and the consumption side. This means that in case of excess power in the household for a longer period of time, the excess power can be sold to the electricity company. This is a great advantage and also gives you the greatest possible savings on your electricity bill.
There are savings to be made
With a hybrid system, you can store excess power production in the included battery pack and avoid selling your self-generated power for far below the price of a kWh.
With a hybrid system, you can produce one kWh for about 1 DKK, saving about 1.25 DKK per kWh.
If the large 3.4 kWp system and a 9.6 kWh battery pack are installed in a household with an annual consumption of 5,500 kWh, you will typically have to buy 2,550 kWh annually and thus produce 2,950 kW yourself on a south-facing roof. This will reduce your electricity bill by approximately DKK 6,500 per year.
Advantages of hybrid
-
A hybrid system stores solar energy for the night and further reduces your electricity bill
-
Get up to 60% better overall economy compared to a regular solar panel system
-
Become independent of fluctuating subsidy schemes
-
Become almost self-sufficient in summer with green power
