Calendar control in the church

In Klokkerholm, you'll find Hellevad Church which is managed by EnergySystem. The church has installed heating control, mixing loop control, access control, and lighting control.

Digger Henrik Jul Larsen is responsible for monitoring and managing the installations in the church. This has given Henrik more confidence that everything is running automatically. The church uses calendar management for events, meaning that as soon as the priest creates an event, such as a service, the system automatically adjusts the temperature to 18°C inside the church, unlocks the door, and turns on the lights at the right time. The access control and lighting are also time-scheduled, as the church is open every day from morning to evening for visitors.

Quick and easy access

When Henrik works outdoors or inside the church, he uses the app for control, but when he's in his office, he uses the computer program.

Henrik also makes use of the intelligent control when the church needs to accommodate contractors early in the morning or when the church choir uses the church in the evening on a weekly basis. Here, he can easily and quickly manage the system remotely from home or set it up in the calendar.

EnergySystem provides security

Security was the primary reason the church chose the system, as it provides more assurance that Henrik can quickly check that the door is locked, the lights are off, and the heating is set correctly before an event. Initially, Henrik had to get used to trusting the system, but now he relies on it to work, as it always functions as expected. However, he still checks occasionally to ensure everything is in order.

Local cooperation

Henrik is glad that SoftControl is located locally, making it easy to get assistance if any questions arise. The church is set to 18°C when there is an event and 12°C when nothing is scheduled in the calendar.

Henrik would recommend the EnergySystem to others, as the calendar control feature has especially made a significant difference in his daily routine. When the church plans to renovate its public restrooms, he would like to have lock control and lighting control installed there as well, as it would simplify the process of locking doors and managing the lighting.
