Originally, SoftControl developed CTS for schools, making EnergySystem optimal for buildings with regular operational patterns, such as classrooms.

Weekly programs are ideal for schools and institutions, as a school year consists of regular weeks and holiday weeks. The system can easily be set up to heat student rooms, classrooms, teacher lounges, etc., from Monday to Friday during school hours and lower the temperature during weekends, holidays, and breaks. In addition, the person responsible for technical operations can create one-time events, such as when the school is used for parent meetings in the evening.

The iCal function also allows teachers to create events that are managed by EnergySystem, for example, a class event.

For larger buildings, the heating system is often split across multiple mixing loops, which are also optimally controlled by EnergySystem. Once all rooms have reached the desired temperature, EnergySystem switches off the pump to minimize energy loss in the pipes. The supply temperature is also calculated by EnergySystem to prevent unnecessary hot water from circulating in the system.
