HOTELS & HOLIDAY CENTERS

In hotels and resorts, the most commonly used features are heating, lighting control, and access control.

With EnergySystem, it is possible to integrate with the existing booking system so that the room or apartment can be set to "occupied" status when the guest checks in. Consumption meters are read electronically, and the consumption values are added to the guest's bill upon checkout. User management can also be set up, allowing the receptionist to adjust the room temperature for individual guests, but upon checkout, the temperature is reset to the default temperature set by the administrator.

Consumption data is stored as well, enabling the generation of a graphical view of each guest's consumption, which can be used as documentation in case of discrepancies with the bill.

Access control allows for easy management of access to individual rooms or apartments. It is possible to use keypads, wireless cards, SMS, or a website to unlock the door.

A tablet can be permanently mounted on the wall in the room or apartment if multi-installation is used. This allows the guest to control their own room or apartment. Additionally, administrators can upload PDF files into the app, which the guest can access. These might include relevant information about the hotel or resort.

The messaging module enables the administrator to send messages through the EnergySystem, triggering a push notification on the screen.

Furthermore, a comprehensive monitoring system for the individual rooms' humidity levels can be set up to ensure a healthy environment and avoid mold damage.

DAY- & NIGHT CONTROL

EnergySystem allows for temperature control in hotel rooms or vacation homes. For example, set the temperature to 15°C when the room or property is not booked by guests. When the room or property is booked, set the daytime temperature to 22°C and lower it to 18°C at night.

In this example, with a 60% occupancy rate over a month, the hotel can achieve a savings of 32% with temperature management.

Functions often used in hotels/holiday centers

    • When windows are opened, the heating automatically switches off
    • Control the heating for the entire hotel from a single unit
    • Easy and simple management of all conference rooms, guest rooms, etc., via the hotel’s digital calendar
    • Consumption overview and optimization
    • Control of guest access
    • Renewable energy sources and surplus energy management

As a new feature, the technical manager can also receive an alarm on their smartphone if a toilet is running, helping to prevent excessive consumption and resource wastage.
